Sex Therapy

What is sex therapy?
Sex therapy is a type of psychotherapy that addresses sexual concerns when there's no medical cause. Through talk therapy, a sex therapist can help individuals sort through thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and experiences surrounding sex, identity, trauma, stress, and more. Sex therapists do not have sexual contact with their clients.

How do I know if I need sex therapy?
Sex therapy can help with the following:

  • low/excessive libido
  • erectile dysfunction
  • painful sex
  • lack of sexual confidence
  • sexual trauma
  • unwanted fetishes
  • postpartum intimacy
  • mismatched sexual variety
  • sexless marriages

How can sex therapy help?
We believe that sexual issues don't just resolve themselves if/when relationship issues do; that the sexual dissatisfaction is a problem worth addressing itself. By addressing thoughts, feelings, and patterns surrounding sexual dissatisfaction, sex therapists can help individuals and couples find more pleasurable and enjoyable sexual relationships.

At the end of treatment, you'll walk away with a new found confidence in yourself and your sexual relationship.
